After capturing audiences with season one, “BMF,” Dramatized story of two Detroit brothers (Demetrius). “Big Meech” Terry “Southwest” Starz will be documenting the true story of Flenory), who founded one of America’s most famous and influential crime families.

“The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast” The story of the Black Mafia Family, the notorious drug-trafficking network that rose from Detroit’s streets and fell to its knees, recalls the dramatic rise and fall. The eight-part series features stories from insiders, Flenory family members and celebrities. It tells the entire story of the Black Mafia Family that we have not yet heard from direct sources.

Leading up to “BMF”The second season of’s, which stars Big Meech’s son, Demetrius, is available on NBC. “Lil Meech” Starz premieres Flenory Jr. as himself in January. Starz will roll out half-hour episodes to a documentary that follows the Flenory siblings’ early Detroit days and the Black Mafia Family’s rise in early ’80s. Their peak in the late 1990s, and then their downfall in 2006. The docuseries also includes an update on where the organization and some of its key players are today — including Big Meech, who lends commentary throughout the documentary as he continues to serve his 30-year sentence at an Oregon prison.

Terry and Meech were both taken into custody by the DEA in 2007 to be part of drug operations. In June 2021, The Detroit News Reports indicate that Meech’s sentence was reduced three years by a federal court. Meech is expected to be released in 2028. Terry, also serving a 30-year sentence for COVID-19, was put in home confinement in 2020 to help reduce the spread.

So far, Starz’s “BMF” Drama has barely touched the surface of Black Mafia Family’s story. Season 2 will likely focus on the expansion of the family to Atlanta. We have more to reveal about the dramatized series’ return in 2023. “The BMF Documentary” Bis now.
