Two Republicans are the only ones to have officially announced their candidacy for 2024. Trump announced his candidacy in November. Nikki Haley, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations (US), also declared her candidacy this month. This list could grow with other potential candidates, including Florida governor. Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence.
