Soccer fans, this is your moment to shine. The 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar will start on Nov. 20th, and run through Dec. 18. 32 soccer teams from all over the world will be competing in the World Cup. The World Cup can be viewed from the comfort of your home. The FIFA World Cup will stream live on Peacock, Fubo and SlingTV. In Spanish, it will air on Telemundo and FOX Sports channels. It’s good news, not just for soccer fans.

The World Cup will feature a stellar lineup of musicians. The FIFA World Cup will feature soccer stars competing for the title, but there will also be performances by some of top music artists from around the world. BTS member Jeon Jungkook joined the performers’ roster on November 12.

According to the official BTS TwitterThe opening ceremony will be attended by K-pop legend, Yungi. “Proud to announce that Jung Kook is part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Soundtrack & will perform at the World Cup opening ceremony. Stay tuned!” It was a tweet.

Jungkook isn’t the only artist confirmed to perform at the event. Nora Fatehi (Calvin Harris), Nora Fatehi (Trinidad Cardona), and Kizz Daniel are also among them. Diplo shared his excitement at being part of this year’s World Cup in a press release. “I’ve been really fortunate to travel all over the world and experience different cultures through music,” He said. “Wherever I am, Jamaica, Spain, England, China, South Africa, etc., football is a social constant. Seeing so many fans from all over the world in one place — the FIFA Fan Festival is just awesome. Really looking forward to it!”

Harris said, “I’m so excited to be playing for football fans from all over the world at this year’s FIFA Fan Festival.”

Jungkook will perform during the opening ceremony. However, there will be other performances at the FIFA Fan Festival that begin on Nov. 22 and continue through Dec. 10. Harris will be closing out the festival. In addition to soccer games, the festival will feature food, entertainment and local culture.
