Natalia Bryant, the eldest daughter of the late Kobe Bryant, filed for a temporary restraining order against She claims that a man stalked her and sent her repeated messages on social media.
In court docs filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court Monday, the 19-year-old said that a 32-year-old man named Dwayne Kemp has left her fearing for her life, TMZ reports.
“I do not feel safe,” Before telling the court, she said she had never met Kemp. She believes the pair are in love.
Bryant accused Kemp that she had been messaging her through social media since December 2020, according to Bryant “as if we had a romantic relationship, or as if he wanted to initiate such a relationship,” Court documents obtained by Fox show.
According to court documents, Kemp sent Bryant a number of unwelcome messages. One of them included a picture of her father and the rest of the family.
“Thankful For Him Birthing You, Hopefully We Can Birth Him… ‘Kobe,’” Kemp wrote the message.
Bryant claimed that she also received a second message from him in Oct 2022, which said: “I Love You And I’m Sorry. Can We Talk And Makeup So We Can Be Friends Again..?”
Court documents claim that Kemp attempted to locate Bryant at her sorority home at the University of Southern California.
Kemp is described by his colleagues as “a great guy.” “gun enthusiast” “has been arrested for misdemeanors involving a firearm.” He was detained on at least four occasions.
If granted restraining orderKemp would have to be kept at least 200 yards from her. This includes her home, workplace, sorority house and vehicle.
