Video: Mac Desktop Accessories Worth Checking Out

Sometimes, MacRumors Dan Barbera, videographer, updates his desk by adding new features MacProducts that improve his workflow when he records and edits videos. Dan just posted a 2022 desk update on the MacRumors YouTube channel that highlights all types of desk accessories you may want to consider for your setup.

  • MX Mechanical Mini Keyboard for Mac ($150): Designed for Macs the MX Mechanical Mini Keyboard was created. MacTactile Quiet Low-Profile Switches and Backlit Keys for a keyboard that is user-centric
  • MX Master 3S Mouse ($100) – The MX Master 3S Mouse was also designed for this purpose. MacIt features a MagSpeed Electromagnetic Wheel and an adjustable DPI, which can be used with high resolution displays. It can connect up to three devices at a time.
  • Ugmonk Desk Accessories ($449 for a complete set) – Ugmonk just launched a new range of desk accessories called “Gather,” This includes monitor stands and organizers as well as headphone stands and shelves to streamline your desktop. This is a Kickstarter project, so be cautious. Spring 2023 will be the first time products arrive.
  • ALTI Wireless Charging Desk Mat The ALTI Wireless Charging Mat ($130) is a vegan leather-and-felt desk mat with a smooth surface. This mat can also be used for mouse use and includes an additional wireless charger that connects to your iPhone and AirPods. Note that this wireless charger has magnetic charging, but it is limited to charging an ‌iPhone‌ at a maximum of 7.5W because it is not an official MagSafe charging solution.
  • Volt 276 ($269)- The Volt276 audio interface is for creators of music, videos, or podcasts. It plugs into an Mac Recordings can be improved by using vocals, instruments, and audio effects.
  • Loupedeck Live ($269) – The Loupedeck Live custom touch screen console can be programmed to provide quick access buttons for any application. This console is ideal for live streaming but you can also create shortcuts or macros for any other software.

iPhone 15 Pro to Get Thunderbolt Port With Significant Advantage Compared To Lightning

According to Ming-Chi Kuo analyst, Apple’s next-generation iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a USB-C port that supports at least USB 3.2 or Thunderbolt 3.
